Ultimate Carp

This was my first rename! It was a present from Kuibbles. All of his ships are green, so I got a green outfit to wear on it.

Eventually they implemented paint, and the first ship I repainted was the Ultimate Carp, of course:

Emcee Hammerhead

This was my second rename. I had a goal of owning a ship by this name since I wrote a song parody of Ye Can't Booch This. After I got back from the PP party in San Francisco, I found someone who sold me some shanghais for it.

It got painted for Christmastime and I haven't repainted it yet.

Ultimate Carpenter

I won the Ultimate Carpenter cutter in the Duty Puzzle Bake-Off for a Monkey, in September. I tied for first place in my division and it was one of the prizes.

Sublime Carp

The Sublime Carp was a gift from my dear friend Damienroc. He said to me something like "Name an adjective," and I was like "whaa?" He said that he had a Carp for me, and I should pick an adjective. Since I had just hit Sublime Carpentry a few days prior, of course I asked for it :)

Most Valuable Carp

This was a gift from Shuranthae after a round of OCL Sea Battle, where I managed to defeat 4 humans by myself. Everyone was so shocked that they said I deserved a Most Valuable Player trophy... and this was Shuranthae's idea of a trophy. I suppose in retrospect it should have been the Most Valuable Swordfish, but hey, I like Carps just fine too!

Third Ling

This ship belongs to my alt. I was on the dock and someone asked if I wanted to buy a shanghai. I thought, "why not?" and turned the Gifted Ling into the Third Ling, just fer me alt, since it was a one-shanghai joke.

Canonical Carp

This was an entirely unexpected, very sweet gift from my friend Parka! I had a portrait that I titled "the canonical carp", and out of nowhere Parka just goes "Hey... I had this ship... but I think it is much more suited to you..." and he just gave it to me! It was even painted red yellow.. how sweet!

Hiroshima Carp

This is the first of my Baseball Carp Collection! Hehe. There's a baseball team in Japan called the Hiroshima Carp, so it was imperative that I get this rename.
