SEPTA is the southeastern PA transportation authority.. pronounce theater like "the-a-ter".. hopefully the rest makes sense...) "The End of the Sore" There's a girl in the crowd taking SEPTA Who will follow TMBG And she says that the Troc's louder than it's been And she's thinking of going home That it's loud and it's totally louder now, And the crowd is so loud, they're much louder now And they push and they shove 'cause they're louder, now, I can't hear myself At the end of the tour I can't hear anymore If there's any more sound in my ears I won't hear it for years If I drink some more beers I might hear by the end of the tour All the earplugs are sold In this part of the world So we're deaf by the end of the tour Never to part since the day we met In the mosh pit at TLA I was dropped by the crowd, you were bruised and hurt When we kissed under stamping feet I was surfing along above people Waving their arms at the bouncers, below me Then came a break in the set I was dropped And the people abruptly changed This was the theater these were the people You lifted your boots and attacked all the people This was the theater these were the people We leaned on the stage and pushed back at the people Telling the theater about these damn people Who let them go? At the end of the tour I can't hear anymore I just can't take much more of this crowd "Pass the Dude"'s not allowed And the music's so loud I'm just dead by the end of the tour With the bruise on my back In those hues of blue-black I'm just dead by the end of the tour And I'm never going to Philly again No I'm never going to Philly again..
